These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Name A Star Registry (the "Site") and the purchase of any star-naming package ("Products"). By creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

1. The nature of our product

Name A Star Registry sells novelty digital gift products. Naming a star through our Site is a symbolic and personal gesture; it does not confer any official, scientific, or legally recognized naming right recognized by any astronomical authority. Star names and certificates are for personal, sentimental, and gift purposes only.

2. Accounts

You must create an account with an accurate name, email address, and password to place an order. You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account. Let us know right away if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Orders and personalization

When you personalize a package, you provide details such as a star name, constellation, and an optional message. You're responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of the content you submit. We reserve the right to decline or cancel orders containing unlawful, offensive, or infringing content.

4. Pricing and payment

All prices are shown in USD and are charged at checkout via PayPal. Orders are confirmed once payment has been successfully captured. You agree to provide accurate billing information and authorize us to charge the listed total for your order.

5. Digital delivery and refunds

Products are delivered digitally and are generally considered fulfilled once your order is confirmed and accessible in your account. Because personalization is unique to each order, we do not offer refunds once a certificate has been generated, except where required by law or at our discretion for genuine errors on our part.

6. Acceptable use

• Don't use the Site for unlawful purposes or to submit personalization content that is defamatory, hateful, or infringes someone else's rights.
• Don't attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems.
• Don't misuse the OTP login or password reset flows to attempt to access accounts that aren't yours.

7. Intellectual property

All Site content, design, and branding belong to Name A Star Registry or its licensors. Your personalized certificate is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use.

8. Limitation of liability

The Site and Products are provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Name A Star Registry is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or Products.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
